CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2: • Congratulated Development Services Manager Emily Hanna on being selected to receive the 40 Under 40 Award by the Orlando Business Journal. Commissioner Mark Busch — Seat No. 3 • Added his congratulations to Ms. Hanna on the 40 Under 40 Award. Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: • Extended kudos to Vice Mayor Aramendia and all those who had a part in bringing the very successful iLLuminArt event to the City on Friday, October I I", adding that Friends of the Park had sponsored cash prizes for some of the artists which exhibited the strong partnership between the non-profit organization and the City. Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1 • Shared that the I" place Judges' award and the People's Choice award both went to artist Susan Sturm-Menand for her piece "Jellies 2.0". He added that she also participates in EarthFest with her recycled art. • Reported he had recently been selected to serve as the President of the Seminole Cultural Arts Council. • Attended the recent swearing-in ceremony for four new City of Casselberry Police officers. Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: • Added her congratulations to Ms. Hanna for the 40 Under 40 Award. • Attended the October Country Jam event at Lake Concord Park on October 12°i which she enjoyed and felt was very well attended. • Participated in the Best Foot Forward Program launch event at the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners Commission Chambers on Wednesday, October 2"a 18.
