CASSCLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 14, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 20 <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Meadows. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />No report. <br />C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />Vice Mayor Aramendia reported the group had met on October 2nd in the City of Lake Mary and the <br />presentation had been about the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens and its upcoming events, with <br />special focus on the upcoming Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild event which will be held Wednesday <br />through Sunday from November 20, 2019 through January 12, 2020 from 6-10 p.m., excluding <br />Thanksgiving and Christmas. He added that the event would be similar to the City's iLLuminArt event, <br />but with Asian lanterns. Each of the member organizations then shared information about their events and <br />current and upcoming projects. <br />D. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />Mayor Glancy had no Board report; however, Commissioner Busch shared information about the recent <br />class on Seminole County human services programs he had recently attended. He also shared that his class <br />had decided upon its class project which was to raise funds for and implement improvements to the <br />Challenge team building climbing and ropes course at the Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center in <br />Oviedo. <br />E. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />No report. <br />9. RESOLUTIONS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />
