Motion was seconded by Commissioner Meadows. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. 8. DISCUSSION ITEMS A. Future Agenda Items No items were presented for consideration. B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report No report. C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report Vice Mayor Aramendia reported the group had met on October 2nd in the City of Lake Mary and the presentation had been about the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens and its upcoming events, with special focus on the upcoming Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild event which will be held Wednesday through Sunday from November 20, 2019 through January 12, 2020 from 6-10 p.m., excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas. He added that the event would be similar to the City's iLLuminArt event, but with Asian lanterns. Each of the member organizations then shared information about their events and current and upcoming projects. D. Leadership Seminole Board Report Mayor Glancy had no Board report; however, Commissioner Busch shared information about the recent class on Seminole County human services programs he had recently attended. He also shared that his class had decided upon its class project which was to raise funds for and implement improvements to the Challenge team building climbing and ropes course at the Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center in Oviedo.
