RESOLUTION 19-3126 - CONFIRMING DECLARATION <br />OF A STATE OF PUBLIC EMERGENCY FOR <br />HURRICANE DORIAN <br />The City clerk read Resolution 19-3126 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, CONFIRMING THE DECLARATION OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY AND ALL <br />EMERGENCY REGULATIONS ACTIVATED BY THE CITY MANAGER AS PROVIDED BY <br />CHAPTER 30 OF THE CASSELBERRY CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EXTENSION OF THE 72 -HOUR TIME LIMIT FOR SAID STATE OF EMERGENCY UNTIL <br />TERMINATED BY THE CITY COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that the purpose of Resolution 19-3126 was to <br />confirm the Declaration of a State of Emergency and extend the State of Emergency past the 72 hours <br />which was the limit of his ability to authorize. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Resolution 19-3126. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to approve Resolution 19-3126, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />6. RESOLUTION 19-3127 - DECLARATION OF <br />"PARAMOUNT PUBLIC PURPOSE" TO PERFORM <br />DISASTER RELIEF SERVICES WITHIN GATED <br />COMMUNITIES/ COMMUNITIES WITH PRIVATE <br />ROADS <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 19-3127 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, PROVIDING A DECLARATION OF "PARAMOUNT PUBLIC PURPOSE"; <br />PROVIDING A STATEMENT OF AUTHORITY FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF CITY FUNDS <br />REQUIRED TO PERFORM DISASTER RELIEF SERVICES WITHIN GATED <br />COMMUNITIES/COMMUNITIES WITH PRIVATE ROADS AS PROVIDED IN THIS <br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, REPEAL OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT <br />RESOLUTIONS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated that Resolution 19-3127 reiterates the <br />
