Resolution 19-3100 — Amendment to Fiscal Year 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program The City Clerk read Resolution 19-3100 by title, as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2019- 2023 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer Kelly Brock stated that Resolution 19- 3100 provides for amending the Fiscal Year 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program to replace $200,000 per year for "Various Park Improvements" across Fiscal Years 2020 through 2023 with $200,000 each for four specific projects instead, namely "Wheel Park" Phases 1 and 2, Dew Drop Park, and Sunnytown Park. In response to questions from the City Commission, Dr. Brock advised that this amendment was merely strategic for future grant application purposes and was separate and apart from the referendum process for parks improvements. Budget Impact: There is no impact to Fiscal Year 2019 budget associated with this item, and this does not affect the overall funding proposed in the FY 2019-2023 CIP (Capital Improvement Program). Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 19-3100. Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the City Commission regarding Resolution 19- 3100. MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to approve Resolution 19-3100, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously
