The Special Magistrate asked if there was a report from the roofing company. Mr. Sobleman had a letter; this was <br />added to the record. <br />Mr. Sobleman advised that they have made several repairs (to the roof) to make sure there were no leaks. <br />The Special Magistrate summarized, the roof was patched in areas where they knew there were leaks, a roofer <br />had told them there are no more leaks and they feel it is completed. <br />Mr. Sobleman stated the owner wants to replace the roofs but is waiting for insurance, as the cost is millions of <br />dollars. <br />The Special Magistrate stated that Mr. Sobleman submitted to the record a letter from Carol Bradford Inc.. <br />Tim Alcuri, Senior Code Compliance Officer gave testimony and described photos <br />The Special Magistrate stated it is a little bit of a walking the line letter, "the current roofing system is an <br />acceptable condition, until the settles his insurance claim" . She did not feel that the condition of the roof, sound <br />or not is dependent on when insurance proceeds are issued. The photos show some real concerns. The Special <br />Magistrate continued. <br />Finding of Fact- The Special Magistrate made a finding in the case listed above; the $50.00 per day fine was <br />imposed, as previously set. <br />NEW CASE <br />CE -19-000261 1164 Park Dr <br />• Overgrowth, weeds, trash and debris, ULDR Section 3-10.3.c.1 <br />• Commercial vehicle designated parking, ULDR Section 3-10.3.b.1 <br />Fred Eastwood, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony, described the violations and photos. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if there was anyone present to speak on this matter. <br />Jeffrey M. Peppler, 1164 Park Dr advised that Lonnie Peppler is no longer the property owner. <br />The Special Magistrate stated she was looking at a series of photos, there was no trash in front of the house, and the red <br />van was still there, black truck that does not look like a commercial vehicle. <br />Mr. Peppler stated that some of the debris was from roofing jobs. <br />The Special Magistrate asked about the commercial vehicle. <br />Mr. Peppler did not know what commercial vehicles were being referred to but did agree with the signs on the vehicle. <br />Mr. Peppler advised that the signs are off the vehicle and in the back of the truck. <br />Finding of Fact- The Special Magistrate made a finding in CE -19-000261 1164 Park Dr, the property was in <br />violation overgrowth, weeds, trash and debris, ULDR Section 3-10.3.c.1 but was in compliance the time of the hearing. <br />For the violation of commercial vehicle designated parking, ULDR Section 3-10.3.b.1, a $50.00 per day fine was imposed, <br />the property is to be in compliance within 30 days (May 11, 2019). Another hearing will be hold on June 13, 2019 to <br />determine compliance. <br />3 1 P a g e <br />
