Award of Continuing Professional Services Contracts for Stormwater and Lakes <br />Management Projects <br />Introduction: Approval of award of four (4) Continuing Professional Services Contracts for Stormwater <br />and Lakes Management projects which provide for services on a task authorization basis to the following <br />firms (Ref: SOQ-2019-0424) is requested: <br />-CPH, Inc. (CPH) <br />-Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. (Geosyntec) <br />-Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) <br />-Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Wood) <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. Various operating and/or capital <br />accounts in Public Works and other City Departments/Divisions may be used for future Task Authorizations <br />under these contracts, subject to available budgets. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to award <br />four (4) separate contracts for continuing professional services for Stormwater and Lakes Management <br />projects on a task authorization basis to: (1) CPH, Inc.; (2) Geosyntec Consultants, Inc.; (3) Vanasse Hangen <br />Brustlin, Inc.; and (4) Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. at an amount not to exceed <br />$300,000 per contract per year. <br />I. Amendment #1 to Agreement with Smithson Electric, Inc. <br />Introduction: Approval of Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Smithson Electric, Inc. which provides <br />an increase in the maximum compensation limit from $48,000 to $148,000 over the three-year term of the <br />agreement, with an annual limit of $100,000 (Ref: ITB -2016-0056) is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no budget impact associated with this item. Various City Operating accounts, <br />subject to available budget, will be used as needed for these services. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Smithson Electric, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $148,000 <br />cumulatively or $100,000 in any one year. <br />Amendment #1 to the Agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. for Police Body -Cam <br />Data Storage Upgrade <br />Introduction: Approval of Amendment #1 with Axon Enterprise, Inc. which provides for an upgrade to <br />the Police Department's body -cams data memory storage from a per gigabyte (GB) fee to an unlimited plan <br />over the next four (4) years at an additional cost of $11,520 per year is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding for the current year (year two) is available in the FY 19 Budget in the IT Repairs <br />and Maintenance account #001-061.0-521.46-51. Funding for years three, four and five will be budgeted <br />accordingly in future budgets. <br />
