CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 13, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 of 19 <br />BA #19-037 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for the <br />installation of two (2) mixing pumps, two (2) recycling pumps, and two (2) biosolid pumps with KAT <br />Construction & Materials, Inc. in the amount of $25,376. The total cost of installation is $75,660. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />402-0000-389.90-00 Other Non -Operating Source $25,376 <br />402-0753-535.67-35 Equipment Other $25,376 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the <br />agreement with KAT Construction & Materials, Inc. in the amount of $75,660 and related Budget <br />Amendment #19-037. <br />F. Piggyback Agreement with U.S. Submergent Technologies LLC for Structure <br />Cleaning Services <br />Introduction: Approval of the piggyback agreement with U.S. Submergent Technologies, LLC which <br />provides for structure cleaning services, on an as -needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 (Ref - <br />PBA -2019-0498) is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Funding will come from the FY 2019 Water and Sewer Fund Water Reclamation Repair <br />and Maintenance account #401-0753-535.46-00 as needed. Prior to task authorizations being issued, <br />funding availability will be confirmed. There is also the opportunity to receive grant funds to help pay for <br />the structure cleaning services as needed. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the <br />piggyback agreement with U.S. Submergent Technologies, LLC for structure cleaning services, on an as - <br />needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $200,000, and to simultaneously authorize the City Manager to <br />approve all task authorizations within the scope of the contract. <br />G. Piggyback Agreement with Cintas Corporation for Work Uniform Rental <br />Introduction: Approval of the piggyback agreement with Cintas Corporation which provides for work <br />uniform rental services, on an as -needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $20,000 per year up to a total of <br />$80,000 over the term of the agreement (Ref: PBA -2019-0478) is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Various City operating accounts, subject to <br />available budget, will be used as needed for these services. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the <br />piggyback agreement with Cintas Corporation in the amount not to exceed $20,000 per year up to a total of <br />$80,000 over the term of the agreement. <br />
