CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of May 13, 2019 — Regular Meeting Page 5 of 19 BA #19-037 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for the installation of two (2) mixing pumps, two (2) recycling pumps, and two (2) biosolid pumps with KAT Construction & Materials, Inc. in the amount of $25,376. The total cost of installation is $75,660. Account Number Account Description Amount Increase: 402-0000-389.90-00 Other Non -Operating Source $25,376 402-0753-535.67-35 Equipment Other $25,376 Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the agreement with KAT Construction & Materials, Inc. in the amount of $75,660 and related Budget Amendment #19-037. F. Piggyback Agreement with U.S. Submergent Technologies LLC for Structure Cleaning Services Introduction: Approval of the piggyback agreement with U.S. Submergent Technologies, LLC which provides for structure cleaning services, on an as -needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 (Ref - PBA -2019-0498) is requested. Budget Impact: Funding will come from the FY 2019 Water and Sewer Fund Water Reclamation Repair and Maintenance account #401-0753-535.46-00 as needed. Prior to task authorizations being issued, funding availability will be confirmed. There is also the opportunity to receive grant funds to help pay for the structure cleaning services as needed. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the piggyback agreement with U.S. Submergent Technologies, LLC for structure cleaning services, on an as - needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $200,000, and to simultaneously authorize the City Manager to approve all task authorizations within the scope of the contract. G. Piggyback Agreement with Cintas Corporation for Work Uniform Rental Introduction: Approval of the piggyback agreement with Cintas Corporation which provides for work uniform rental services, on an as -needed basis, in an amount not to exceed $20,000 per year up to a total of $80,000 over the term of the agreement (Ref: PBA -2019-0478) is requested. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Various City operating accounts, subject to available budget, will be used as needed for these services. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of the piggyback agreement with Cintas Corporation in the amount not to exceed $20,000 per year up to a total of $80,000 over the term of the agreement.
