CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 13, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 12 of 19 <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 19-3095, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. Ordinance 19-1512 — Amending the Future Land Use Designation for Properties <br />Located along State Road 436 and Oxford Road (LPA 19-06) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1512 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF THE <br />FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM MAJOR THOROUGHFARE MIXED-USE TO <br />COMMERCIAL FOR APPROXIMATELY 2.306 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE <br />SOUTHEAST CORNER OF STATE ROAD 436 AND OXFORD ROAD, AS DESCRIBED IN <br />SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: City Attorney Reischmann advised that the City had received notice from the <br />applicant's engineer Jeffrey Baird that all the applications for Race Trac have been withdrawn. However, <br />the applicant listed on the application was attorney Tom Sullivan and she had attempted but had not yet <br />been able to contact Mr. Sullivan to confirm the withdrawal of the application. Therefore, she was <br />requesting at this time that consideration of Ordinance 19-1512 on first reading be continued to the June <br />10, 2019 regular City Commission meeting. She also confirmed that since this item was simply being <br />continued, there would be no need at this time for public comment. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended denial of <br />Ordinance 19-1512 on first reading. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Meadows moved to continue first reading of Ordinance 19- <br />1512 to the June 10, 2019 regular City Commission meeting. Motion was <br />seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice <br />vote 5-0. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 19-1510 — Amending Chapter 86, Utilities Article <br />I, In General and Article II, Sewers of City Code of Ordinances <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1510 by title, as follows: <br />
