Resolution 19-3094 — Agreement with Florida Department of Environmental Protection for a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Prograln Grant to Develop "Wheel Park — Casselberry" (Phase 1) and Related Budget Amendment #19-036 The City Clerk read Resolution 19-3094 by title, as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FOR A FLORIDA RECREATION DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT FOR "WHEEL PARK — CASSELBERRY" (PHASE 1); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer Kelly Brock stated that Resolution 19- 3094 approves an Agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)for a Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Grant for the development of a new park in northern Casselberry under the working name "Wheel Park — Casselberry" (Phase 1) in the amount of $250,000, with a required local match of $250,000, for a total project cost of $500,000, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Approval of related Budget Amendment #19-036 is also requested. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #19-036 recognizes the $250,000 in grant revenue for this project. As noted above, a $250,000 local match is required, which staff is proposing for the FY 2019-2020 budget. (Grant funding will be received on a reimbursement basis at the conclusion of the project.)
