Second Reading of Ordinance 19-1508 — Amending the Official Zoning <br />Designation for the Property Located at 2610 S. US Highway Zway 17-92 (ZB 19-03) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 19-1508 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN CHAPTER II, ARTICLE IV, <br />SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; AMENDING THE <br />ZONING CLASSIFICATION FROM CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO PMX-MID <br />(PLANNED MIXED-USE: MEDIUM RISE) FOR THE APPROXIMATELY 1.88 -ACRE PARCEL <br />LOCATED AT 2610 S. U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92, CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED IN <br />SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 19-1508 <br />was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, March 28, 2019. <br />Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Emily Hanna stated that Ordinance 19-1508 amends <br />the Official Zoning Map from CG (Commercial General) to PMX (Planned Mixed -Use: Medium Rise) for <br />the property located at 2610 S. U.S. Highway 17-92 consisting of approximately 1.88 acres. Notification <br />was provided to the surrounding property owners within 500 feet and written notice was posted on the <br />subject property on December 19, 2018.
