CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 8, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 4 of 13 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Amendment #1 with CrowderGulf Joint <br />Ventures, Inc. <br />D. Amendment #1 to the Consultant Agreement with Thompson Consulting Services <br />LLC for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services <br />Introduction: Approval of Amendment #1 to the contractor agreement for disaster debris monitoring <br />services with Thompson Consulting Services, LLC which updates the contract language to include <br />additional Federal contract provisions required by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) is <br />requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended approval of Amendment #1 with Thompson <br />Consulting Services, LLC. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />8. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (MetroPlan) Report <br />No report. <br />C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />Vice Mayor Aramendia reported the group had met on Wednesday, April 3rd and the meeting was hosted <br />by Seminole State College at its Oviedo campus. The presentation was on Mechatronics, a mix of <br />mechanical, electrical and computer engineering and robotics, and the future anticipated need for these <br />combined disciplines. After the presentation, several of the members shared information about current or <br />recently completed projects, and issues being addressed by their respective governments or agencies. The <br />next meeting will be hosted by the City of Altamonte Springs, possibly at its newly renovated Westmonte <br />Park. <br />
