CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of decorum. The following individual came forward: Mr. Alva (Ed) Bowman, 286 Lake Griffin Circle, thanked the City Commission for his appointment as the alternate member of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and also for the City's response to several traffic issues in his neighborhood which included placing lines and reflectors in the intersections and lighted speed signs throughout the area. He requested that the City also look into placing a stop sign at the intersection of Lake Griffin Circle and Packing House Drive where there were ongoing problems with speeding. No one else came forward. 14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Commended City staff and the volunteers for their contributions in delivering two excellent major special events, the Spring Jazz & Art Festival and the Mardi Gras Music Festival, and the regularly scheduled Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event within the past two weeks. 15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT No report. 16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT Provided reminders for the following upcoming public meetings: o City Commission/Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Joint Workshop, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., Police Department Multi -Purpose Room o City Commission/Planning & Zoning Commission Joint Workshop, Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., Police Department Multi -Purpose Room o City Commission/Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Joint Workshop, Monday, April 1, 2019, 6:30 p.m., Police Department Multi -Purpose Room In response to questions from the City Commission, Ms. Gardner advised there would be an opportunity for the public to speak with the usual three (3) minute time limit after each discussion item during each of these workshops.
