CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Mr. Alva (Ed) Bowman, 286 Lake Griffin Circle, thanked the City Commission for his <br />appointment as the alternate member of the Planning & Zoning Commission, and also for the <br />City's response to several traffic issues in his neighborhood which included placing lines and <br />reflectors in the intersections and lighted speed signs throughout the area. He requested that <br />the City also look into placing a stop sign at the intersection of Lake Griffin Circle and Packing <br />House Drive where there were ongoing problems with speeding. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Commended City staff and the volunteers for their contributions in delivering two excellent major special <br />events, the Spring Jazz & Art Festival and the Mardi Gras Music Festival, and the regularly scheduled Art <br />& Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event within the past two weeks. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Provided reminders for the following upcoming public meetings: <br />o City Commission/Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Joint Workshop, Wednesday, <br />March 20, 2019 at 6:30 p.m., Police Department Multi -Purpose Room <br />o City Commission/Planning & Zoning Commission Joint Workshop, Wednesday, <br />March 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m., Police Department Multi -Purpose Room <br />o City Commission/Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Joint Workshop, Monday, April <br />1, 2019, 6:30 p.m., Police Department Multi -Purpose Room <br />In response to questions from the City Commission, Ms. Gardner advised there would be an opportunity <br />for the public to speak with the usual three (3) minute time limit after each discussion item during each of <br />these workshops. <br />
