CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of March 11, 2019 — Regular Meeting Page 12 of 13 17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 • Attended the Mardi Gras Music Festival on March 9"' and thanked all the staff and volunteers who made it a great event. • Extended congratulations to the three new police officers who were just sworn in. • Thanked Mr. Bowman for giving feedback on how the updates the City had made in his neighborhood were working out. Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: • Attended the Spring Jazz & Art Festival on March 2nd and thanked staff for their hard work on all the City's events. • Also expressed appreciation to Mr. Bowman for sharing his comments about the work done in his neighborhood. Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: • Also commended staff and all the volunteers who had worked to make the City's recent events successful. • Added that he also appreciated Mr. Bowman's input on the issues which were being addressed in his neighborhood. • Congratulated the three newly -sworn police officers. • Expressed concerns about some code violation issues he had observed and suggested the City should look into whether there were options for stricter enforcement of recurring violations. Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: Agreed with the earlier comments from Commissioners Hufford and Busch and added his thanks to staff and volunteers for working to make the City's events so great. Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: • Reported she and other City staff had participated in a panel discussion at the recent State of the City Luncheon sponsored by the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce on March 6t''. • Thanked City staff for their hard work on all of the City's events. • Reminded everyone again of the upcoming joint workshops on March 20, March 27"', and April 1s', and the regular City Commission meeting on March 25t".
