CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 11, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 12 of 13 <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />• Attended the Mardi Gras Music Festival on March 9"' and thanked all the staff and volunteers <br />who made it a great event. <br />• Extended congratulations to the three new police officers who were just sworn in. <br />• Thanked Mr. Bowman for giving feedback on how the updates the City had made in his <br />neighborhood were working out. <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Attended the Spring Jazz & Art Festival on March 2nd and thanked staff for their hard work on <br />all the City's events. <br />• Also expressed appreciation to Mr. Bowman for sharing his comments about the work done in <br />his neighborhood. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Also commended staff and all the volunteers who had worked to make the City's recent events <br />successful. <br />• Added that he also appreciated Mr. Bowman's input on the issues which were being addressed <br />in his neighborhood. <br />• Congratulated the three newly -sworn police officers. <br />• Expressed concerns about some code violation issues he had observed and suggested the City <br />should look into whether there were options for stricter enforcement of recurring violations. <br />Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia — Seat No. 1: <br />Agreed with the earlier comments from Commissioners Hufford and Busch and added his <br />thanks to staff and volunteers for working to make the City's events so great. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />• Reported she and other City staff had participated in a panel discussion at the recent State of <br />the City Luncheon sponsored by the Casselberry Chamber of Commerce on March 6t''. <br />• Thanked City staff for their hard work on all of the City's events. <br />• Reminded everyone again of the upcoming joint workshops on March 20, March 27"', and April <br />1s', and the regular City Commission meeting on March 25t". <br />
