CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 28, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page I l of 12 <br />Ms. Debra Babb-Nutcher had participated in a telephone conference with key people at the <br />FWC, and a Memorandum of Understanding was being drafted which would set out what FWC <br />would agree to relating to the City's request for restrictions on duck hunting in the City. She <br />added that she was unsure what FWC would ultimately agree to, but it looked promising and <br />so her firm was abating discovery in the legal case at this point to try and gain some productive <br />progress on the issue through the Memorandum of Understanding. <br />Commended all staff who had given presentations to the City Commission at tonight's meeting. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />Announced dates and times for upcoming public meetings relating to the City's parks as <br />follows: <br />o February 6t1i at 6:00 p.nl. at Wirz Park, located at 806 Mark David Boulevard <br />o February 7'11 from 6:00 —7:30 p.m. in City Hall City Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet <br />Lake Drive - meeting with consultants and staff regarding Sunnytown Park <br />o February 9t1i at 12:00 p.m. at Dew Drop Park, located at 1309 Avalon Boulevard <br />Ms. Gardner encouraged all those who could to attend these meetings and provide feedback to City staff. <br />• Announced that the next Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar would be held in <br />Lake Concord Park on Friday, February 8t1i from 6-9 p.m. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Mark Busch - Seat No. 3: <br />• Expressed appreciation to City Attorney Reischlnann for the work she was doing on the duck <br />hunting issue. <br />• Commented on the Lake Concord Park Master Plan Report & Presentation which had been <br />given at the CRA (Community Redevelopment Agency) meeting earlier in the day. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />• Attended Leadership Seminole Summit on Friday, January 2511, and advised that the next class, <br />Arts and Culture Day, would be held at the Casselberry Art House on Friday, February 1St <br />• Congratulated City staff on the results of the "Maintain, Don't Gain Holiday Challenge" during <br />which City employees had lost a total of 187.5 pounds collectively. <br />• Commended staff for the work done on the recent parking study. <br />
