CASSCLBGRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 28, 2019 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 12 <br />reminded the City Commission that they had added an alternate position for this board, and in accordance <br />with board policy should a vacancy occur, alternate Leann Nash would be considered first for that vacancy <br />and then the remaining applications would be brought forward for consideration to fill the alternate position. <br />Lakes Management Advisory Board <br />MOTION: Commissioner Busch moved to reappoint Gregory Case and Felix Kreskey, <br />each for a first full term and Laura Hatton and Marc Taylor each for a second <br />full term to the Lakes Management Advisory Board, all terms effective to <br />January 31, 2021. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion <br />carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />Ms. Gardner advised that the appointment of Mr. Tony Tizzio to the Planning and Zoning Commission had <br />created a vacancy on the Lakes Management Advisory Board, but as there were currently no applications <br />for that board she would continue recruitment efforts. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individuals came forward: <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, commented on the Lake Concord Parking <br />Master Plan Report & Presentation made at the CRA meeting earlier today and expressed some <br />concerns about how the air conditioning unit located between City Hall and the Police <br />Department might impact construction of any parking structure for the park. <br />Mr. Tony Tizzio, 809 Osceola Trail, thanked the City Commission for appointing him to the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission, stating he was proud to serve and proud to live in the great <br />City of Casselberry. <br />No one else carne forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Approvals Information Report for the Period December 1 2018 <br />through December 31, 2018 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Approvals Information Report for the month of December 2018 <br />was included in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained <br />information about minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />• Gave an update on the City's appeal of the ruling by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation <br />Commission (FWC) relating to duck hunting in the City with input from City Attorney <br />Reischmann.
