However, Budget Amendment #19-022 is necessary <br />to recognize the grant revenue in account code #001-0000-334.90-02. (Grant funding will be received on a <br />reimbursement basis at the conclusion of the project.) <br />BA #19-022 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to recognize the agreement with <br />Florida Department of Environmental Protection for Secret Lake Park Development Project as part of Land <br />and Water Conservation Fund Grant in the amount of $200,000 and a required City match of $200,000. <br />The grant funding will be received on reimbursement basis at the conclusion of the project. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Increase: <br />001-0000-334.90-02 FDEP — Secret Lake Park $200,000 <br />001-0410-572.63-24 Improvements — Other $200,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 19-3079 and related Budget Amendment #19-022. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the City Commission regarding Resolution 19- <br />3079 and related Budget Amendment #19-022. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 19-3079 and related <br />Budget Amendment #19-022, as presented. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Busch. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />B. Resolution 19-3080 — Casselberry Memorial Park Bench Program <br />The City Clerk read Resolution 19-3080 by title, as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CASSELBERRY MEMORIAL <br />PARK BENCH PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Recreation Manager Linda Moore stated that Resolution 19-3080 would approve <br />implementation of the Casselberry Memorial Park Bench Program. In response to a question from the City <br />Commission, Ms. Moore confirmed that those purchasing benches through the program would be doing so <br />in memory of a loved one who had passed away, and that the City would develop guidelines for participation <br />in the program, if approved. <br />Budget Impact: There is no budget impact associated with this program as the applicant will provide the <br />funds to the City, in advance, and the City will facilitate the purchase of the bench. A budget amendment <br />will be processed to recognize the donors and donations. <br />
