Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />January 9, 2019 <br />Page 4 <br />Ms. Hyson said staff also recommends that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable <br />recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 19-02 to amend the Official Zoning Map from Seminole County A-1 <br />(Agriculture) to City of Casselberry RMF -13 (Medium Density Multi -family) for the subject property located at 547 <br />Lake Howell Road. She said staffs recommendation is based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff <br />report dated January 9, 2019, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed change to the Official Zoning Map <br />outlined in the staff report. The findings are: <br />1. The requested zoning amendment is consistent with the City of Casselberry Comprehensive Plan and <br />the proposed Medium Density Residential Future Land Use designation; <br />2. The requested zoning amendment is compatible with the surrounding mix of land uses and zoning <br />districts; and <br />3. City water and sanitary sewer services are available to the subject property. However, staff will <br />determine during the site plan review process whether future development can connect directly to the <br />existing public sewer infrastructure or if an additional lift station will need to be installed by the <br />applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Shane Acevedo, 1817 Loch Berry Road, Winter Park, <br />Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. Mr. Willard Ives, 2325 Sierra Lane, Maitland, Florida came forward. Mr. Ives expressed a concern with <br />the number and height of the buildings that would be adjacent to his property. Mr. Henson explained those types of <br />questions/concerns would be discussed during the site plan review process. Mr. Henson explained tonight's agenda <br />item deals with the future land use and rezoning of the parcel. <br />The Commission suggested Mr. Ives contact staff with any questions regarding the site plan review for this <br />project. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address LPA 19-04. Mr. Lutz made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for LPA 19-04 to amend the Future <br />Land Use designation from Seminole County Medium Density Residential to City of Casselberry Medium Density <br />Residential for the subject property located at 547 Lake Howell Road based on the findings of fact and conclusions of <br />the staff report dated January 9, 2019, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed change to the Future Land <br />
