Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />August 8, 2018 <br />Page 6 <br />ZB 18.05 <br />Ms. Hanna said staff recommends that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable <br />recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 18-05 to amend the Official Zoning Map from I (Industrial) to CS <br />(Commercial Service) for the subject property located at 177 Anchor Road based on the findings of fact and <br />conclusions of the staff report dated August 8, 2018, and the following findings regarding the proposed change to the <br />Official Zoning Map, <br />1. The requested zoning amendment is consistent with the City of Casselberry Comprehensive Plan and <br />the proposed Commercial Future Land Use designation. <br />2. The requested zoning amendment is compatible with the surrounding mix of land uses and zoning <br />districts. <br />3. City services are available and will not be negatively impacted. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Faramarz Sadri, 3903 Forsyth Road, Winter Park, <br />Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address ZB 18-05. Mr. Lutz made a motion that the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 18-05 to amend the Official Zoning <br />Map from I (Industrial) to CS (Commercial Service) for the subject property located at 177 Anchor Road based on the <br />findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated August 8, 2018, and the following three findings regarding <br />the proposed change to the Official Zoning Map: <br />1. The requested zoning amendment is consistent with the City of Casselberry Comprehensive Plan and <br />the proposed Commercial Future Land Use designation. <br />2. The requested zoning amendment is compatible with the surrounding mix of land uses and zoning <br />districts. <br />3. City services are available and will not be negatively impacted. <br />and including Attachment B. Mr. Bakalla seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br />Ninth Item of Business: ZB 18-06: Zoning Map Amendment for Property Located at 2008 Lake Howell Lane. <br />Amending the Official Zoning Map from OR (Office/Residential) to PMX-HIGH (Planned Mixed -Use: High Rise) <br />for the parcel located at 2008 Lake Howell Lane. <br />
