Notification of the proposed Zoning Map amendment was <br />provided to the surrounding property owners within 500 feet and the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />serving as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), voted unanimously at its August 8, 2418 meeting to <br />recommend approval of this amendment to the City Commission. The request to amend the Official Zoning <br />Map from OR (Office/Residential) to PMS -HIGH (Planned Mixed Use: High Rise) for the subject property <br />is consistent with the City of Casselberry Comprehensive Plan and the existing Major Thoroughfare Mixed - <br />Use (MTMU) Future Land Use designation; compatible and consistent with the adjacent land uses and <br />zoning districts; and City services are available at the subject property and will not be negatively impacted. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval <br />of Ordinance 18-1497 on first reading. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 18-1497. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 18-1497 on first <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1493 — Amending the Future Land Use <br />Designation for Properties Along Belle Avenue (LPA 18 -OD <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1493 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF THE <br />FUTURE LAND DESIGNATION FROM INDUSTRIAL (I) TO COMMERCIAL (C) FOR <br />THIRTY-FIVE (35) PARCELS TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 4.5 ACRES GENERALLY <br />LOCATED AT 910, 920 AND 930 BELLE AVE.
