Staff Presentation: Planner I Christina Hyson gave an overview of Ordinance 18-1497 which amends the Official Zoning Map from OR (Office/Residential) to PMX-HIGH (Planned Mixed -Use: High Rise) for the property located at 2008 Lake Howell Lane. Notification of the proposed Zoning Map amendment was provided to the surrounding property owners within 500 feet and the Planning and Zoning Commission, serving as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), voted unanimously at its August 8, 2418 meeting to recommend approval of this amendment to the City Commission. The request to amend the Official Zoning Map from OR (Office/Residential) to PMS -HIGH (Planned Mixed Use: High Rise) for the subject property is consistent with the City of Casselberry Comprehensive Plan and the existing Major Thoroughfare Mixed - Use (MTMU) Future Land Use designation; compatible and consistent with the adjacent land uses and zoning districts; and City services are available at the subject property and will not be negatively impacted. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Ordinance 18-1497 on first reading. Audience Participation: No one came forward to address Ordinance 18-1497. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 18-1497 on first reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. 11. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1493 — Amending the Future Land Use Designation for Properties Along Belle Avenue (LPA 18 -OD The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1493 by title, as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE OF THE FUTURE LAND DESIGNATION FROM INDUSTRIAL (I) TO COMMERCIAL (C) FOR THIRTY-FIVE (35) PARCELS TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 4.5 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED AT 910, 920 AND 930 BELLE AVE. AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE."
