CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Mr. Neil Landgrebe, 451 Lilac Road, provided a copy of his campaign brochure to the City <br />Clerk for the record, and shared some of the topics he had addressed in his campaign but <br />would continue to bring to the attention of the City Commission, as he felt they were <br />important and should be addressed, including meeting times, meeting notice, meeting <br />audio/visual, traffic calming, recreational amenities, community gardens and a farmer's <br />market. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Thanked staff members who had made presentations at tonight's meeting. <br />Reported that both the Swing "Fore" the Arts Golf Tournament on Friday, August 31" and the <br />Latin Jazz and Art Festival on Saturday, September 1" had been very successful events. <br />Advised that with the start of the new fiscal year in October some of the master planning work, <br />including architectural, engineering and cost estimates, related to the parks improvements <br />discussed by the City Commission at various earlier workshops would be assigned, and he <br />planned to present an overview and update at the next regular City Commission meeting. <br />15. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />16. CITY CLERK'S REPORT <br />No report. <br />17. CITY COMMISSIONERS' REPORTS/COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />• Thanked everyone who had supported him in his campaign for re-election, adding that he had <br />really enjoyed meeting and speaking with so many residents as he campaigned door-to-door. <br />Added he had been pleased to hear so many positive comments from the citizens, and thanked <br />staff and the City Commission for all they do in moving the City forward in a positive direction. <br />
