CASSCLBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 10, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 15 of 16 <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />• Congratulated both Commissioner Aramendia and Vice Mayor Meadows on their re-election <br />to the City Commission, and thanked them for the great job they had done and would continue <br />to do for the citizens of Casselberry. <br />• Commented that over the years the City had tried various Commission meeting times and <br />citizen attendance and participation had been about the same no matter the meeting time. <br />• Stated that from her conversations with residents she felt people as a whole were happy with <br />the direction the City was moving and recognized the improvements that had been made in the <br />past several years. <br />• Advised that today was Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year 5779, and wished everyone a <br />healthy, happy and prosperous new year. <br />• Stated it was bittersweet for her to be nearing the end of her term as a City Commissioner, and <br />she wished to thank the residents for allowing her to serve, and the staff and the other <br />Commissioners for their hard work and support. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Congratulated staff on the success of both the Swing "Fore" the Arts Golf Tournament on <br />Friday, August 31st, and the Latin Jazz and All Festival on Saturday, September lsr <br />Congratulated Vice Mayor Meadows and Commissioner Aramendia on their successful re- <br />election to another four years serving on the City Commission. <br />Attended his second class for Leadership Seminole on Friday, September 7"', which was <br />Government Day, and stated it had been very interesting and informative. <br />Vice Mayor Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />Thanked everyone who had supported him in his bid for re-election, stating he was looking <br />forward to serving the citizens of Casselberry for another four years. <br />Congratulated Commissioner Aramendia for winning a hard-fought race for re-election, and <br />thanked his opponent Mr. Neil Landgrebe for his graciousness and his willingness to continue <br />to be an active participant what the City is doing as it moves forward. <br />Stated he would like to see more participation and input from citizens about what direction they <br />would like to see the City take. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />• Congratulated Commissioner Aramendia and Vice Mayor Meadows on their re-election, <br />stating she was grateful for their continued willingness to serve. <br />• Also congratulated Mr. Landgrebe on his hard work on his campaign and for his willingness to <br />run and to be an active participant in the City. <br />• Thanked all staff who had worked to make the Latin Jazz and Art Festival such a great success. <br />
