Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />July 11, 2018 <br />Page 7 <br />Eleventh Item of Business: SPR 18.07: Geneva School Site Plan Phase II. A Development of Community <br />Impact site plan request to develop a 2 -story 59,665 square foot school building and associated parking and <br />landscaping at the Geneva School located at 1775 Seminola Boulevard within the Seminola Boulevard <br />Overlay District. <br />Mr. Dean Fathelbab, Planner II, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated July 11, 2018, <br />and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Fathelbab said staff requests the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission make a recommendation of approval to the City Commission for the proposed Development <br />of Community Impact Site Plan application for the Geneva School Phase II (SPR 18-07) based on the site plan with a <br />revision date of June 21, 2018, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated July 11, 2018, and <br />subject to the five conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Jay Klima, 385 Douglas Avenue, Altamonte Springs, <br />Florida came forward and reviewed the traffic circulation for the site. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Klima said the student population would be 250 and <br />eventually go up to 375 with this particular phase. <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the parking requirements for the various phases of the project and the <br />number of students for this phase of the project. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. There were no other questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address SPR 18-07. Mr. Phillips made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission provide a recommendation of approval to the City Commission for the proposed Development of <br />Community Impact Site Plan application for the Geneva School Phase II (SPR 18-07) based on the site plan with a <br />revision date of June 21, 2018, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated July 11, 2018, and <br />subject to the five conditions of approval outlined in the staff report including Attachments A -H. Mr. Lutz seconded <br />the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />
