Planning & Zoning Commission/ Local Planning Agency Minutes July 11, 2018 Page 7 Eleventh Item of Business: SPR 18.07: Geneva School Site Plan Phase II. A Development of Community Impact site plan request to develop a 2 -story 59,665 square foot school building and associated parking and landscaping at the Geneva School located at 1775 Seminola Boulevard within the Seminola Boulevard Overlay District. Mr. Dean Fathelbab, Planner II, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated July 11, 2018, and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Fathelbab said staff requests the Planning and Zoning Commission make a recommendation of approval to the City Commission for the proposed Development of Community Impact Site Plan application for the Geneva School Phase II (SPR 18-07) based on the site plan with a revision date of June 21, 2018, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated July 11, 2018, and subject to the five conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Jay Klima, 385 Douglas Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Florida came forward and reviewed the traffic circulation for the site. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Klima said the student population would be 250 and eventually go up to 375 with this particular phase. A brief discussion ensued regarding the parking requirements for the various phases of the project and the number of students for this phase of the project. Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. There were no other questions for the applicant. Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came forward. Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address SPR 18-07. Mr. Phillips made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a recommendation of approval to the City Commission for the proposed Development of Community Impact Site Plan application for the Geneva School Phase II (SPR 18-07) based on the site plan with a revision date of June 21, 2018, the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated July 11, 2018, and subject to the five conditions of approval outlined in the staff report including Attachments A -H. Mr. Lutz seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
