CASSCLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 27, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 16 of 18 <br />recommended approval of this item at its meeting on July 11, 2018. No changes have been made to <br />Ordinance 18-1488 since its approval on first reading at the July 23, 2018 regular City Commission <br />meeting. <br />City Attorney Reischmann advised that a notebook containing the studies and case law referenced in the <br />ordinance were available in the City's Clerk's office should any of the Commissioners wish to review them. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption <br />of Ordinance 18-1488 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Ordinance 18-1488. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Ordinance 18-1488. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance <br />18-1488. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 18-1488 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />1. Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, shared some of the accomplishments of Mr. <br />Leonard Casselberry who had recently passed away, and expressed concerns about whether it <br />was necessary for the City to continue putting certain additives into the City's water system. <br />No one else came forward. <br />
