Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1486 — Amending Section 2-7.36 <br />Communication Tower Communication Antenna and Wireless Communication <br />Facility Regulations <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1486 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, RELATING TO COMMUNICATION FACILITIES; AMENDING THE CITY <br />UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS BY AMENDING SECTION 2-7.36, <br />"COMMUNICATION TOWER, COMMUNICATION ANTENNA, AND WIRELESS <br />COMMUNICATION FACILITY REGULATIONS" WITHIN ARTICLE VII, "GENERAL <br />REGULATIONS" OF CHAPTER II, "DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS" TO <br />CLARIFY REGULATIONS REGARDING COMMUNICATION TOWERS, COMMUNICATION <br />ANTENNAS, AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITIES; AND BY AMENDING <br />SECTION 5-21.2, "DEFINITION OF TERMS" OF ARTICLE XXI, "LANGUAGE AND <br />DEFINITIONS" OF CHAPTER V, "GLOSSARY" TO ADD DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 18-1486 <br />was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, July 12, 2018. <br />Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Emily Hanna gave an overview of Ordinance 18- <br />1485 which amends Section 2-7.36, Communication Tower, Communication Antenna, and Wireless <br />Communication Facility Regulations and Section 5-21.2, Definitions and Terms, as it relates to Federal and <br />State requirements for wireless communication facilities. No changes have been made to Ordinance 18- <br />1486 since its approval on first reading at the June 11, 2018 regular City Commission meeting. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption <br />of Ordinance 18-1486 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Ordinance 18-1486. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Ordinance 18-1486. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance <br />18-1486. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to adopt Ordinance 18-1486 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />D. First Reading of Ordinance 18-1488 — Amending Section 2-7.28 Industrial - <br />Medium Design and Performance Guidelines (LPA 18-10) <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1488 by title, as follows: <br />
