Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Ordinance 18-1483. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance <br />18-1483. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 18-1483 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1485 — Amending Chapter 68 Roadway and <br />Utility Construction <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1485 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, <br />FLORIDA, RELATING TO COMMUNICATION FACILITIES; AMENDING CHAPTER 68, <br />"ROADWAY AND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION" OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY <br />AMENDING ARTICLE II, "CONSTRUCTION AFFECTING STREETS, RIGHTS-OF-WAY OR <br />EASEMENTS" TO CLARIFY AND UPDATE RIGHTS-OF-WAY UTILIZATION AND PERMIT <br />REQUIREMENTS, AND BY AMENDING ARTICLE IV, "COMMUNICATIONS RIGHTS-OF- <br />WAY", ESTABLISHING NEW REGULATIONS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION <br />FACILITIES AND AMENDING GENERAL CRITERIA FOR COMMUNICATION FACILITIES; <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 18-1482 <br />was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, July 12, 2018. <br />Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Emily Hanna gave an overview of Ordinance 18- <br />1485, which amends Chapter 68, Roadway and Utility Construction, as it relates to wireless communication <br />facilities. No changes have been made to Ordinance 18-1485 since its approval on first reading at the June <br />11, 2018 regular City Commission meeting. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption <br />of Ordinance 18-1485 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Ordinance 18-1485.
