Resolution 18-3041-A — Residential Contract for Sale and Purchase of 329 Seminola Blvd., Parcel ID #09-21-30-502-0000-0020 and Related Budget Amendment #18-042 The City Clerk read Resolution 18-3041-A by title, as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A RESIDENTIAL CONTRACT FOR SALE AND PURCHASE BETWEEN PAUL D. BLAIS AND ROBIN A. BORING (TENANTS BY THE ENTIRETY) AND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 329 SEMINOLA BLVD., PARCEL ID #09-21-30-502-0000-0020, FOR THE SEMINOLA MASTER LIFT STATION PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." City Attorney Catherine D. Reischmann arrived at the meeting at 5:20 p.m. Staff Presentation: Water Resources Manager Tara Lamoureux gave an overview of Resolution 18-3041- A which approves the purchase of land located at 329 Seminola Blvd., Parcel ID #09-21-30-502-0000- 0020, for the amount of $415,000 plus $25,000 in closing costs for a total amount not to exceed $440,000 to be utilized for the Seminola master lift station renovation project. In response to a question from Vice Mayor Meadows, Ms. Lamoureux advised that the working plan is for the City to put the new lift station in while owning the property to make it easier for staging, etc., and afterward to develop the City's easement larger and then sell the remaining portion of the property back to residential use. Approval of related Budget Amendment #18-042 is also requested. Budget Impact: The property at 329 Seminola Blvd. will be purchased for $415,000 and $25,000 will be set aside for closing costs. Funds in the amount of $787,950 for design and property acquisition for the Seminola master lift station renovation are budgeted in the current FY18 Budget in Account #401-752- 535.63-12. It is necessary to shift funds applicable to the land acquisition to the Land account #401-752- 535.61-07. As this is a capital acquisition, approval of Budget Amendment #18-042 is being requested to reallocate the budget. :I I [.I]Kim ►J.
