CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION
Minutes of June 25, 2018 — Regular Meeting
Page 8 of 13
Recommendation: The City Manager and the Development Services Manager recommended approval of
Budget Amendment # 18-041.
Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda.
MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as
presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried
unanimously by voice vote 4-0.
8. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Future Agenda Items
Vice Mayor Meadows suggested that for special meetings he would like to see public notice of the meeting
and provision of any packet materials be provided at least two weeks in advance of the meeting if at all
possible. After a brief discussion regarding what constituted a special meeting, the City's meeting policies
and protocols, statutory requirements for notice, and the need and desire for transparency, the City
Commission reached a consensus that there should be at least two weeks' notice given of special meetings
when possible, noting that it was understood there would be emergency matters and time sensitive issues
that could not meet that timeframe.
B. Municipal Advisory Committee (MetroPlan) Report
No report.
C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report
No report.
D. Leadership Seminole Board Report
No report.
E. Mayors/Managers Group Report
No report.
