Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />Commissioner Aramendia reported the following from the meeting held in the City of Longwood on June <br />6,2018: <br />— Presentation was given by Seminole County on the Mosquito Control Program; <br />— Reports from members included the City of Altamonte Springs reporting on various <br />development projects, including Maitland West, the Adventist Healthcare facility and a new <br />project at Cranes Roost Park, and the City of Lake Mary reporting on its new Griffin Park <br />development. <br />D. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />No report. <br />E. Mayors/Managers Group Report <br />Mayor Glancy reported the following from the meeting held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018: <br />- Discussion was about what each City does for its seniors, and Mayor Glancy shared a packet <br />of information with the other members about the City of Casselberry's programs and events <br />for seniors compiled from the Police Department and Public Works Recreation Division. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />A. Ordinance 18-1483 — Amending Article XIV of the City Code of Ordinances, Tree <br />Protection (LPA 17-09I <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1483 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE XIV, <br />TREE PROTECTION, OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART III, UNIFIED LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, TO MODIFY LANGUAGE AS IT RELATES TO MEMBERS <br />OF THE CITY TREE ADVISORY COMMITTEE, AND MODIFYING TREE BANK PAYMENT <br />LANGUAGE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Staff Presentation: Planner Dean Fathelbab gave an overview of Ordinance 18-1483 which amends <br />multiple sections of Article XIV, Tree Protection, of the City Code of Ordinances to modify language as it <br />relates to members of the City Tree Advisory Committee (CTAC) and modifying Tree Bank payment <br />language. The Planning & Zoning Commission, serving as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), unanimously <br />voted to recommend City Commission approval of Ordinance 18-1483 at its meeting on January 11, 2018. <br />
