CASSCLBCRRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 12, 2018 — Workshop <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />• Additional sidewalks and landscaping <br />• New fishing pier <br />• Bike/pedestrian connector to Crystal Bowl Park <br />• Cost estimate for entire project is $1.3 million <br />Sunnytown Park <br />City Commission assigned tentative amount of: <br />1. $1,500,000 to improve multi-purpose field with lights <br />Staff recommendations: <br />• Sports multi-purpose field with lights <br />• Restroom facility <br />• New ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant playground and equipment <br />• Enlarge parking lot and add lights — consider acquiring adjacent properties to expand parking <br />• Staff recommends consideration for $2 million <br />Northeast Industrial Park <br />City Commission assigned tentative amount of. <br />$3,500,000 to convert land to an active park <br />Staff recommendations: <br />Create an active outdoor sports complex that is a well -integrated adventure park for the whole family that <br />includes: <br />• Pump track (circuit of off-road terrain for cycle sports) <br />• Skate park (10,000 square foot facility including bowl and street elements) <br />• Toddler bicycle park <br />• Playground/climbing wall <br />• Restrooms <br />• Support facilities — sidewalks, parking lot, lighting, amenities, picnic pavilions, shade <br />structures, benches, trashcans, drinking fountains, mid -block crossing, landscaping <br />• $4.5 million needed to develop and construct <br />Lake Hod2e Park <br />Staff Findings: <br />• Drainage improvements were completed a few years ago. There is no need for additional <br />drainage improvements unless the County obtains an easement for outfall. <br />
