Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />February 14, 2018 <br />Page 5 <br />Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 18-05 to allow a day care and preschool facility at 351 Ascension <br />Drive based on the staff report dated February 14, 2018, and the ten (10) conditions outlined in the staff report. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Hyson said there is an overhang that allows for drive-thru <br />parking which would be utilized for drop off/pick up of the children. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Melissa Williams, Classical Christian Academy <br />(CCA) Preschool, 347 Reider Avenue, Longwood, Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 18-05. Mr. Phillips made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 18-05 to allow a day care and preschool facility at 351 Ascension Drive based on <br />the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated February 14, 2018, and the ten (10) conditions outlined in <br />the staff report including Attachments A-E. Ms. Campbell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br />Tenth Item of Business: SP 17.04: Casselberry Marketplace Final Plat. A request to plat a tract of land <br />located at 1006-1070 State Road 436 and 1001 Red Bug Lake Road (Baers Plaza). Parcel ID's 21-21-30-300- <br />003M-0000; 21-21-30-300-0030-0000; 21-21-30-300-00313.0000; 21-21-30-300.003L-0000; 21-21.30.300.003D- <br />0000; and 21.21-30-300-003N-0000 <br />Ms. Emily Hanna, Chief Planner, reviewed the information provided in staffs memorandum dated February <br />14, 2018, and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hanna said staff requests the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission recommend approval to the City Commission for Casselberry Marketplace (SP 17-04), final <br />plat dated December 5, 2017 including the two (2) conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Julie Kendig, 450 South Orange, Suite 650, Orlando, <br />Florida. In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Kendig said they agree with the conditions of approval <br />outlined in the staff report. <br />
