Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />December 13, 2017 <br />Page 2 <br />Ms. Hyson reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated December 13, 2017, and a <br />PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the PowerPoint <br />presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hyson said staff recommends the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 17-19 to allow vehicular services, maintenance, and light mechanical repairs at 290 <br />Iris Road based on the staff report and the nine (9) conditions outlined in the staff report. <br />The Commission questioned if there were any noise complaints or code issues now that the business is <br />operating at the site. Ms. Hyson said she was not aware of any complaints. Ms. Emily Hanna, Chief Planner, stated <br />that a copy of the agenda is provided to staff prior to the meeting and they would notify staff of any code issues on <br />the site. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Tristan Sothern, 290 Iris Road, Casselberry, Florida <br />came forward. In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Sothern said that he agrees with the conditions of <br />approval. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 17-19. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 17-19 to allow vehicular services, maintenance, and light mechanical repairs <br />(excluding sales and service, body shops, and storage) at 290 Iris Road based on staffs recommendation, the <br />findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated December 13, 2017, and the nine (9) conditions outlined in <br />the staff report including Exhibits A — E. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by <br />voice vote. <br />Sixth Item of Business: CU 17-20: 1531 East Altamonte Drive. A conditional use request to allow the on-site <br />consumption of beer and wine (2COP) located at 1531 East Altamonte Drive. Parcel ID 17.21-30.300-009A- <br />0000 <br />Ms. Christina Hyson, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated December 13, <br />2017, and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes).
