Planning & Zoning Commission/ Local Planning Agency Minutes March 14, 2018 Page 3 Mr. Henson asked for a motion for to address LPA 18-05. Mr. Hale made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for LPA 18-05 to amend the Future Land Use designation from Seminole County Medium Density Residential (MDR) and City of Casselberry Low Density Residential (LDR) to City of Casselberry Medium Density Residential (MDR) based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated March 14, 2018, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes to the Future Land Use Map outlined in the staff report including Attachment A. Ms. Hufford seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Ms. Hyson said staff recommends that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 18-01 to amend the Official Zoning Map from Seminole County A-1 (Agriculture) and R -3A (Multiple Family Dwelling) and City of Casselberry R-9 (Low Density Single -Family Residential) to City of Casselberry RMF -13 (Medium Density Multifamily Residential) for the subject properties located along Red Bug Lake Road based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated March 14, 2018, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes to the Official Zoning Map outlined in the staff report. Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Hal Kantor, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed, P.A., 215 North Eola Drive, Orlando, Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came forward. Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address ZB 18-01. Mr. Hale made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 18-01 to amend the Official Zoning Map from Seminole County A-1 (Agriculture) and R -3A (Multiple Family Dwelling) and City of Casselberry R-9 (Low Density Single -Family Residential) to City of Casselberry RMF -13 (Medium Density Multifamily Residential) for the subject properties located along Red Bug Lake Road based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated March 14, 2018, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes to the Official Zoning Map including Attachment B. Mr. Bakalla seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote.
