Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency Minutes <br />March 14, 2018 <br />Page 3 <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion for to address LPA 18-05. Mr. Hale made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for LPA 18-05 to amend the Future <br />Land Use designation from Seminole County Medium Density Residential (MDR) and City of Casselberry Low <br />Density Residential (LDR) to City of Casselberry Medium Density Residential (MDR) based on the findings of fact <br />and conclusions of the staff report dated March 14, 2018, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes <br />to the Future Land Use Map outlined in the staff report including Attachment A. Ms. Hufford seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Ms. Hyson said staff recommends that the Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable <br />recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 18-01 to amend the Official Zoning Map from Seminole County A-1 <br />(Agriculture) and R -3A (Multiple Family Dwelling) and City of Casselberry R-9 (Low Density Single -Family <br />Residential) to City of Casselberry RMF -13 (Medium Density Multifamily Residential) for the subject properties <br />located along Red Bug Lake Road based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated March 14, <br />2018, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes to the Official Zoning Map outlined in the staff <br />report. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Hal Kantor, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & <br />Reed, P.A., 215 North Eola Drive, Orlando, Florida came forward. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address ZB 18-01. Mr. Hale made a motion that the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for ZB 18-01 to amend the Official Zoning <br />Map from Seminole County A-1 (Agriculture) and R -3A (Multiple Family Dwelling) and City of Casselberry R-9 (Low <br />Density Single -Family Residential) to City of Casselberry RMF -13 (Medium Density Multifamily Residential) for the <br />subject properties located along Red Bug Lake Road based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report <br />dated March 14, 2018, and the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes to the Official Zoning Map <br />including Attachment B. Mr. Bakalla seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />
