Parcel ID: 21.21.30.300-0120-0000, 21.21-30-300-0100-0000, 21-21-30.300- <br />0110.0000, 21.21.30-300-0130-0000, 21.21-30.300-0140-0000, 21-21-30.300.0150-0000, 22-21.30-300.0110.0000, <br />22.21 -30 -300 -011A -0000,21.21 -30 -300.014A -0000,21.21 -30 -300 -013A -0000,21.21.30-300.012B-0000 <br />Mr. Christina Hyson, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated March 14 <br />2018, and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. Hyson said staff recommends the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission provide a favorable recommendation to the City Commission for LPA 18-05 to <br />amend the Future Land Use designation from Seminole County Medium Density Residential (MDR) and City of <br />Casselberry Low Density Residential (LDR) to City of Casselberry Medium Density Residential (MDR). She said <br />staffs recommendation is based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated March 14, 2018, and <br />the three (3) findings regarding the proposed changes to the Future Land Use Map outlined in the staff report. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Mr. Hal Kantor, Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & <br />Reed, P.A., 215 North Eola Drive, Orlando, Florida came forward. Mr. Kantor said he agrees with staffs <br />recommendations. There were no questions for the applicant. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. Mr. Leo Lorenz, 393 Kantor Boulevard, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Lorenz questioned how <br />far the project would encroach in to the woods located behind his home. Mr. Henson explained that the item before <br />the Commission is a future land use change and rezoning. He said the setbacks and buffering would be discussed <br />during the site plan review process. <br />
