The Special Magistrate asked if the owner or representative were present, there was no on present. <br />Tim Alcuri, Senior Code Compliance officer advised that he has not had any contact with the property owner. <br />The property was posted and the notice was removed from the door and still no contact. <br />The Special Magistrate stated this was basically a resurfacing and re -striping, not anything gigantic. <br />Finding of fact: The Special Magistrate made a finding based on testimony and evidence in CE -17-001442, 5001 <br />S HWY 17/92. It was found that the property is in violation of ULDR Section 3-15.4.1), parking lot maintenance. <br />It was ordered that the property come into compliance by 1pm, April 12, 2018, if the violation is not corrected by <br />that date and time the respondent/owner shall pay a fine of $50.00 per day for each day the violation continues <br />past this date and time. If compliance has not been achieved by 1pm, April 12, 2018 a hearing will be held on <br />April 12, 2018, 6:30 pm in the City of Casselberry Commission chambers. <br />CE -18-000012 840 N TRIPLET LAKE DR <br />Roof maintenance; 3-10.3.A.4 <br />Dead tree(s); ULDR Section 3-10.3.C.I <br />Overgrowth, trash & debris; ULDR Section 3-10.3.C.1 <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that case number CE -18-000012, located at 840 N Triplet <br />Lake Dr, in zoning district R-9 for the violation roof maintenance; 3-10.3.A.4, dead tree(s); ULDR Section 3- <br />10.3.C.1 and overgrowth, trash & debris; ULDR Section 3-10.3.C.1. Notification date was October 28, 2017, <br />correction date requested was November 15, 2017 found Non -Compliant, hearing notice date was February 20, <br />2018, correction date requested March 7, 2018 found non-compliant. <br />The property was found to be non-compliant on March 7, 2018. The City requests a correction date of April 12, <br />2018. If no compliance by April 12, 2018 then a fine of $50.00 per day, per violation should then be imposed for <br />each day of non-compliance thereafter. The property is unoccupied and has need unoccupied for some time. <br />The Building Official went out, inspected the property and tagged the property as unsafe for occupancy. <br />While driving by the property on March 8, 2018 there was still no change to the property. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the owner of 840 N Triplet Lake Dr was present. The owner was present to speak <br />Lisa Pendel, 840 N Triplet Lake Dr stated she lost her house and the bank would not work with her, so the house <br />was put on the bankruptcy. The bankruptcy was discharged on June 6, 2017, the jusge told Ms. Pendel lawyer to <br />find someone and do a quick sale. They were told they had to be out of the house on August 5th. Ms. Pendel <br />continued. <br />Ms. Pendel stated she did not know about the hearing until she went to the house to take pictures to take to another <br />hearing on March 7, 2018.
