The property was found to be non-compliant on February 8, 2018. The City requests a correction date of February <br />22, 2018. If no compliance by February 22, 2018 then a fine of $50.00 per day per violation, should then be <br />imposed for each day of non-compliance thereafter. At the February 8, 2018 hearing, the Special Magistrate <br />continued this case to March 8, 2018. <br />The property owner is working with the City to obtain permits; the City requests a 90 -day continuance to June 5 <br />(14), 2018. <br />Emily Hanna, Chief Planner submitted into evidence, record that the Community Development Department is <br />working with the applicant at 530 Hibiscus Rd. The applicant was able to locate his survey; planning staff was <br />able to determine there is a location for an additional carport and/or garage. The applicant is now looking at what <br />it will cost for him to permit the existing structure and to add a carport or garage. <br />Ms. Hanna advised that the email exchange be from the last Special Magistrate hearing to March 8, 2018. A copy <br />of the email was submitted as evidence. <br />David Zeroll, 530 Hibiscus Rd, property owner advised he was cited for the designated parking area but he had <br />complied with that. Mr. Zeroll stated he is working with the City to become compliant with permitting to get the <br />garage or carport added to the property. Mr. Zeroll stated he would like a copy of the recordings. <br />The Special Magistrate advised that the City was requesting a continuance of 90 days to June 5, 2018 hearing <br />(actual meeting date June 14, 2018) and asked if there was any objection. <br />Mr. Zeroll stated there was no objection and wanted to know what the expectations were for that. <br />The Special Magistrate stated there was not going to be a ruling on March 8, 2018, the case will just be reset for <br />June 5, 2018 (actual meeting date June 14, 2018) we will see where we are then. <br />Finding of fact- The Special Magistrate granted a continuance of case 17-001529 to the June 5, 2018 hearing <br />(actual hearing date will be June 14, 2018). The hearing will be held at the same place, same time. <br />NEW CASE <br />CE -17-001442 5001 S HWY 17/92 <br />Parking lot maintenance; City Code Section 3-15.4.1) <br />Mark Campbell, Code Compliance Supervisor advised that case number CE -17-001442, located at 5001 S HWY <br />17-92, in zoning district CG is for the violation of, parking lot maintenance; City Code Section 3-15A.D. <br />Notification date was January 9, 2018, correction date requested was January 25, 2018 found Non -Compliant. <br />Hearing Notice date was January 23, 2018, correction date requested was March 7 found non-compliant. <br />The property was found to be non-compliant on March 8, 2018. The City requests a correction date of February <br />22, 2018.
