CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 26, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 9 <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Chief Planner recommended adoption of Ordinance 18- <br />1474 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Ordinance 18-1474. Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Ordinance 18-1474. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance <br />18-1474. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 18-1474 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, shared some ideas he had regarding design <br />and location of a potential parking structure and event center in the City. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />A. Procurement Information Report for the period 1/1/2018 through 1/31/2018 <br />Mr. Newlon advised that the Procurement Information Report for the month of January 2018 was contained <br />in the Commissioners' agenda packets for review. He noted that the report contained information about <br />minor contracts that were issued under delegated authority of staff during this period. <br />Shared information about a complaint the City Commission had received from a resident <br />regarding bad service they had received from Spectrum Cable. He advised that after <br />researching the issue it had been confirmed that the City was not the regulating agency for <br />cable service, but the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was, and <br />
