CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of March 12, 2018 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 11 <br />Ms. Julie Kendig, an attorney with Greenberg Traurig, 450 South Orange Avenue, Suite 650, <br />Orlando, advised she was present on behalf of the applicant, and expressed the applicant's and <br />her support and concurrence with the Planning & Zoning Commission and with the staff <br />recommendations and conditions. <br />No one else came forward to address Resolution 18-3008. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 18-3008 approving <br />the final site plan for Casselberry Marketplace, as presented, subject to the <br />conditions of approval contained in the Staff Report dated February 14, 2018. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />11. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1475 — Amending Chapter 2, Division 3 Parks <br />& Recreation Advisory Board Membership <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1475 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2, <br />ADMINSTRATION, ARTICLE IV, BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS, DIVISION <br />3, PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD, SECTION 2-167, MEMBERSHIP; TERM <br />OF OFFICE; APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL OF MEMBERS, TO PROVIDE FOR AN <br />ALTERNATE MEMBER AND TO CHANGE THE COMMENCEMENT DATE OF TERMS FOR <br />ALL MEMBERS; AMENDING SECTION 2-168, MEETINGS; OFFICERS; QUORUM, TO <br />CHANGE THE REFERENCE OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR TO <br />RECREATION MANAGER; AMENDING SECTION 2-169, POWERS, DUTIES, AND <br />RESPONSIBILITIES; ASSISTANCE OF CITY EMPLOYEES, TO CHANGE THE REFERENCE <br />OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT TO PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 18-1475 <br />was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, March 1, 2018. <br />Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated he felt the title of the Ordinance contained enough <br />detail that there was no need for a presentation; however, if the Commission had any questions they could <br />be addressed to City Clerk Donna Gardner. The Commission had no questions. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />
