CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of March 12, 2018 — Regular Meeting Page 8 of 11 Ms. Julie Kendig, an attorney with Greenberg Traurig, 450 South Orange Avenue, Suite 650, Orlando, advised she was present on behalf of the applicant, and expressed the applicant's and her support and concurrence with the Planning & Zoning Commission and with the staff recommendations and conditions. No one else came forward to address Resolution 18-3008. MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Resolution 18-3008 approving the final site plan for Casselberry Marketplace, as presented, subject to the conditions of approval contained in the Staff Report dated February 14, 2018. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. 10. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. 11. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1475 — Amending Chapter 2, Division 3 Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Membership The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1475 by title, as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ADMINSTRATION, ARTICLE IV, BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS, DIVISION 3, PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD, SECTION 2-167, MEMBERSHIP; TERM OF OFFICE; APPOINTMENT AND REMOVAL OF MEMBERS, TO PROVIDE FOR AN ALTERNATE MEMBER AND TO CHANGE THE COMMENCEMENT DATE OF TERMS FOR ALL MEMBERS; AMENDING SECTION 2-168, MEETINGS; OFFICERS; QUORUM, TO CHANGE THE REFERENCE OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR TO RECREATION MANAGER; AMENDING SECTION 2-169, POWERS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES; ASSISTANCE OF CITY EMPLOYEES, TO CHANGE THE REFERENCE OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT TO PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 18-1475 was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Staff Presentation: City Manager Randy Newlon stated he felt the title of the Ordinance contained enough detail that there was no need for a presentation; however, if the Commission had any questions they could be addressed to City Clerk Donna Gardner. The Commission had no questions. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget.
