Council of Local Governments in Seminole County CALNO) Report Commissioner Aramendia reported that the City of Casselberry had hosted the meeting on Wednesday, March 711, and the presentation which was entitled Justice for Reese: Residents and Local Governments Working to Improve Public Safety had been well-received by the members who were present at the meeting. He expressed a special thank -you to City Clerk Donna Gardner for her preparation of the decorations and arranging for the meal prior to the meeting. 9. RESOLUTIONS A. Resolution 18-3008 — Final Plat for Casselberry Marketplace (SP 17-04) The City Clerk read Resolution 18-3008 by title, as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE "CASSELBERRY MARKETPLACE" FINAL PLAT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Planner Dean Fathelbab gave a brief overview of Resolution 18-3008 stating that the resolution provided for approval of the Casselberry Marketplace final plat for the properties located at 1006 through 1070 State Road 436 and 1001 Red Bug Lake Road. The combined parcels are approximately 11.2 acres in size. The subject properties have a Major Thoroughfare Mixed Use (MTMU) future land use designation and a Commercial General (CG) zoning designation. The property is currently developed with five commercial structures totaling approximately 115,000 square feet. The Planning and Zoning Commission and staff have recommended approval of the final plat subject to the following conditions set forth in the Staff Report dated February 14, 2018: 1. The City surveyor shall execute the signature block prior to recording of the final plat; 2. The applicant shall make application for a minor site plan review to add the required ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) parking spaces on lots 1, 4 and 5. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Chief Planner recommended approval of Resolution 18- 3008 for the Casselberry Marketplace Final Plat with conditions (SP 17-04).
