Mayor Glancy opened the floor for public participation. No one <br />came forward to address Ordinance 18-1475. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance <br />18-1475. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to adopt Ordinance 18-1475 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Meadows. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4-0. <br />B. Second Reading of Ordinance 18-1476 — Amending Chapter 46 Floods of City <br />Code of Ordinances <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 18-1476 by title, as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 46, <br />FLOODS OF PART II, CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY; TO <br />CONFORM TO STATE AND NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to second reading of Ordinance 18-1476 <br />was advertised in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, March 1, 2018. <br />Staff Presentation: Deputy Public Works Director/City Engineer Kelly Brock advised that there had been <br />no changes to Ordinance 18-1476 since its approval on first reading at the February 12, 2018 regular City <br />Commission meeting. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended adoption of Ordinance <br />18-1476 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy stated this was a public hearing to hear and consider comments and <br />questions regarding Ordinance 18-1476.
