CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of May 22, 2017 — Regular Meeting Page 4 of 12 Introduction: Resolution 17-2960 approves the First Amendment to the Contract for Purchase and Sale with Sherwood Forest I, LLC and Sherwood Forest II, LLC to extend the closing date to on or before June 13, 2017, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said First Amendment on behalf of the City. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 17-2960. E. Resolution 17-2961— Supplemental Agreement #18 to the Continuing Professional Development Management Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. to Design Restroom Addition and Relocation of Playground for Lake Concord Park Promenade and Related Budget Amendment #17-035 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT #18 TO THE CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT WITH ASSOCIATED CONSULTING INTERNATIONAL, INC. TO DESIGN A RESTROOM ADDITION, RELOCATE THE PLAYGROUND AND REPURPOSE THE FORMER PLAY AREA FOR THE LAKE CONCORD PARK DISTRICT PROPERTIES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 17-2961 approves Supplemental Agreement #18 to the Continuing Professional Development Management Services Contract with Associated Consulting International, Inc. (ACi) for design scope of services (including construction oversight) of the restroom facility addition, the relocation of the playground and repurposing of the former playground area for the Lake Concord Park District development in the amount not to exceed $15,825 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Consideration of related Budget Amendment #17-035 is also requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #17-035 will decrease the General Fund Contingency reserve account # 001-0190-519.58-00 in the amount of $15,825 and increase the Transfer to Fund 306 account #001-0190-581.91-36 in the amount of $15,825. It will also increase the CRA Fund Transfer from Fund 001 account # 306-0000-381.10-00 in the amount of $15,825, the Land/Land Improvements account # 306-0410-572.61-07 by $6,595 and the Buildings/Building Improvements account # 306-0410-572.62-25 by $9,230. Recommendation: The City Manager recommends approval of Resolution 17-2961 and related Budget Amendment #17-035. BA #17-035 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide additional funding for Associated Consulting International (ACi) Supplement #18 architectural design services related to the Lake Concord Park playground relocation and landscaping and public restrooms.
