F. Donation from State Law Enforcement Trust Funds and Related Budget Amendment #17-034 Introduction: Consideration to donate $500 from State Law Enforcement Trust Funds to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Community Foundation and approval of related Budget Amendment #17-034 are requested. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #17-034 will establish the budget for this expenditure. The State Law Enforcement Trust Fund will increase the Aids to Private Organizations account #104-0610-521.82-00 and the Other Non -Operating Sources account #104-0000-389.90-00 by $500.00. BA #17-034 Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment seeks City Commission approval for the Police Department to donate $500 to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Community Foundation for the Kids and Cops Fishing Derby from the State Forfeiture funds account. The proceeds from the event will go to Kids House of Seminole which provides many services to the community's children such as forensic interviews, medical examinations and crisis intervention.
