CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 13, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 14 <br />D. Mayors/Managers Group Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Mayor Glancy advised that the City of Casselberry would be hosting the next meeting on Tuesday, February <br />21, 2017. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report —Vice Mayor <br />Aramendia <br />Vice Mayor Aramendia reported that the City of Casselberry had hosted the meeting on Wednesday, February <br />1, 2017, and a presentation had been made by Recreation Specialist Jason Costa on "Creative Placemaking" <br />which included a tour of the sculpture garden, the Art House and some of the artwork displayed in City Hall. <br />He noted that there had been some discussion regarding concerns expressed School Board Member Bauer <br />about the effect the development of so many housing units would have on capacity in the County's schools. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report — Commissioner Solomon <br />Commissioner Solomon reported she had attended the meeting on Thursday, February 9, 2017 and she had <br />been selected to serve as the Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency (RPA) Chairperson. She <br />added that the only other item on the agenda was approval of $35,000 in funding for improvements to Lake <br />Kathryn Plaza which passed by a 4-1 vote. <br />Each of the Commissioners expressed congratulations to Commissioner Solomon for being selected to serve as <br />Chairperson. <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />11.
