CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 13, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 14 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Change <br />Order No. 2 with Murphy Pipeline Contractors, Inc. <br />Donation of Canine (K9) Equipment to the Longwood Police Department <br />Introduction: Consideration to donate K9 training equipment owned by the City of Casselberry, no City asset <br />tag assigned, to the City of Longwood Police Department is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of the donation of the K9 <br />equipment to the City of Longwood Police Department. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address any item on the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />S. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report — Mayor Glancy <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report — Mayor Glancy <br />Mayor Glancy reported that the board had not met since the last Commission meeting but she had attended the <br />Leadership Summit on Friday, January 27, 2017. She noted there had been some interesting presentations and <br />discussions from the speakers who included Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer; a representative from the Orlando <br />Magic; a UCF student instrumental in developing a program which builds prosthetic limbs for people who may <br />not otherwise be able to afford them; Dr. Joel Hunter of Northland Church; Seminole County School Board <br />Superintendent Walt Griffin; and Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma. <br />
