City Manager Performance Evaluation Summaly <br />Staff Presentation: Human Resources and Risk Manager Andy Brooks presented a brief summary of the <br />results of the City Manager evaluations for FY 2015-2016, noting that the same criteria and process were used <br />as in the previous year. He added that the average scores by Commissioner ranged from 4.2 (Above Standard) <br />to 4.9 (Excellent) and the average scores by Category ranged from 4.1 (Above Standard) to 4.9 (Excellent). <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding a possible salary increase based on the evaluation scores <br />received, what had been given in previous years, and how the City Manager's salary compared with others in <br />Seminole County. The Commissioners expressed appreciation for Mr. Newlon's performance over the past <br />fiscal year. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager recommended review of his performance evaluation summary for FY <br />15-16 <br />Audience.Participation: No one came forward to address this item. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Meadows moved to increase the City Manager's salary by 3%, <br />effective January 1, 2017. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Aramendia. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. No one came forward. <br />
