CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 9, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 10 <br />Gee Creek due to Hurricane Matthew. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />9. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />No items were presented for consideration. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report <br />No report. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report <br />No report. <br />D. Mayor /Managers Group Report <br />No report. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report <br />Vice Mayor Aramendia reported he had attended the meeting on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 which was <br />hosted by the City of Altamonte Springs. He stated that the presentation had been about their A -first Program <br />in which they work in collaboration with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the Florida <br />Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), the St. Johns River Water Management District and the City <br />of Apopka to capture stormwater, treat it and re -integrate it into the City's reclaimed water system for use as <br />irrigation. He added that any extra stormwater is sent to the City of Apopka for their use, and this process <br />reduces impact to area springs and the Little Wekiva River.
