CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of September 25, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 15 <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 17-1457 on second and final <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />[PAN "1111011114-11#1 <br />A. Casselberry Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program Changes for FY 2018 <br />Staff Presentation: Planner Dean Fathelbab explained that currently there was a single application for the <br />Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program established in 2013 which had been expanded with Commission <br />approval to include three types of grants. He noted that this had proven to be cumbersome and confusing for <br />both applicants and accounting staff, so it was being proposed that the single application be divided into three <br />separate applications, one for each type of grant. <br />Budget Impact: The grant program is limited to $50,000 overall which has been provided within the FY <br />2018 adopted operating budget. There is no additional impact to the City budget brought by this agenda item. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of <br />Casselberry's Neighborhood Improvement Grant Program Applications for FY 2017-2018. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the CasselbertyNeighborhood Improvement Grant <br />Program Changes for FY 2018. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Casselberry Neighborhood <br />Improvement Grant Program application changes for FY 2017-2015, as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5-0. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, reiterated the concerns expressed earlier <br />regarding his objection to any mention of the proposed purchase of his property being <br />included in any public planning reports submitted to the State. <br />No one else came forward. <br />
