CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of August 14, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 13 <br />Budget Amendment #17-040 — Reclassification of Melody Lane Water Tower <br />Painting Costs <br />Introduction: Consideration of Budget Amendment #17-040 to reclassify $400,000 for Melody Lane Tower <br />Refurbishment project from a capital account to a repair and maintenance account for accounting purposes is <br />requested. <br />Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #17-040 will increase the Water and Sewer Utility <br />Fund/Water Production Repair and Maintenance account #401-0754-533.46-00 and decrease the Other <br />Improvements account #401-0754-533.63-24 in the amount of $400,000. <br />BA #17-040 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to reclassify $400,000 for Melody Lane <br />Tower Refurbishment project to Repair and Maintenance. The contract with Utility Service Company, Inc. <br />was approved by the City Commission on March 27, 2017 in an amount not to exceed $400,000. <br />Account Number Account Description Amount <br />Decrease: <br />401-0754-533.63-24 Other Improvements $400,000 <br />Increase: <br />401-0754-533.46-00 Repair and Maintenance $400,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Budget <br />Amendment #17-040. <br />K. Purchase of Police Vehicle Utilizing FY2017 Capital Lease Proceeds <br />Introduction: Consideration to approve the purchase for a replacement police vehicle in the estimated amount <br />of $32,090 utilizing FY 2017 Suntrust Equipment Finance & Leasing Corp. capital lease proceeds is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval for the purchase of a <br />replacement police patrol vehicle using the capital lease proceeds on Suntrust Equipment Finance & Leasing <br />Corp. Schedule 17. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda: <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried unanimously <br />by voice vote 5-0. <br />
