5. The City may issue permits to allow activities and actions that are
<br />otherwise contrary to the provisions of this section if the Recreation Division
<br />Manager determines that the activities and actions will be accomplished for
<br />management, scientific or husbandry purposes and are consistent with the public
<br />interest.
<br />L. Camping and sleeping.
<br />I. Sleeping or reclining in a horizontal position is specifically
<br />prohibited in the following: building, pavilion, restroom, trash receptacle, bench,
<br />picnic table, as well as recreational activity areas (such as athletic courts and
<br />fields, dugouts, and playgrounds), pedestrian or vehicular traffic ways (such as
<br />roads, sidewalks, bike paths, and jogging paths), and landscaped areas (such as
<br />flower gardens, hedges, and planters).

<br />1. It is unlawful to throw or place or cause to be thrown or placed,
<br />any litter, dirt, frith, or foreign matter into any fountain, or the waters of any lake,
<br />pond, pool, river, inlet, tank or reservoir in any City Park or on the grounds of or
<br />adjacent to any City Park.
<br />2. It is unlawful to cause any pollutant, as defined in F.S. §§
<br />206.9925 and 376.031, to be placed in or to otherwise pollute the lands or waters
<br />of a City Park.
<br />3. No person shall bring in or dump, deposit or leave any bottles,
<br />paper, broken glass, ashes, boxes, cans, dirt, rubbish, waste, garbage, refuse or
<br />other trash. No such refuse or trash shall be placed in any waters in or contiguous
<br />to any City Park, or left anywhere on the grounds thereof, but shall be placed in
<br />the proper receptacles where these are provided. Where receptacles are not so
<br />provided, all such rubbish or waste shall be carried away from the City Park by
<br />the person responsible for its presence, and properly disposed of elsewhere.
<br />N. Removal of natural resources.
<br />1. It is unlawful to remove any beach sand, whether submerged or
<br />not, any soil, rock, stones, plants, wood, flora, fauna or their materials from the
<br />City Park unless issued a general or specific permit to do so by the City for the
<br />purposes of educational activities or good husbandry.
