2. Dogs are permitted in City Parks, except where otherwise posted, <br />provided that such animals are under the continuous control of the owner and on a <br />leash of six feet or less. The owner, or other person responsible for the animal, <br />shall clean up and properly dispose of the animal's waste. Animals shall not be <br />permitted in any facility/building without permission of the City staff. <br />3. It is unlawful to abandon any domestic animal within a City Park. <br />4. The rights of persons to use guide dogs, service dogs or nonhuman <br />primates of the genus Cebus, in accordance with the provisions of F.S. § 413.08, <br />shall not be violated or abridged by application of the provisions of this Section. <br />H. Alcoholic Beverages. It is unlawful for a person to possess, sell, or <br />consume any alcoholic beverage or beverages, as defined in F.S. §§ 856.015 and <br />561.01, within any City Park, except as permitted pursuant to an Alcohol <br />Beverage Permit issued pursuant to Section 14-45 in conjunction with a Special <br />Use Park Event Permit, or as authorized by the City in conjunction with a Facility <br />and Park Rental Permit. This prohibition shall not apply to the Casselberry Golf <br />Club. <br />I. Fires. It is unlawful to ignite, set or maintain any fire in a City Park <br />unless such fire is in City owned grills. Included in this prohibition are activities <br />such as the use of portable cooking equipment of whatever type or nature. <br />J. Peddling/distribution of materials. It is unlawful to engage in any <br />commercial activity or sell or offer for sale any tangible or intangible stock, <br />object, merchandise or thing, or solicit for any trade, occupation, business or <br />profession for any consideration within a City Park, except as an authorized <br />vendor associated with a Special Event Permit issued pursuant to Chapter 14, or a <br />Special Use Park Event Permit issued pursuant to Section 60-5. <br />K. Hunting/wildfire preservation and conservation. <br />1. It is unlawful to harass, hunt, catch, harm, kill, trap, shoot, shine <br />lights at or throw missiles at any animal, reptile or bird in any City Park. <br />2. It is unlawful to use troutlines to catch fish in any publicly owned <br />body of water or within any City Park. <br />3. It is unlawful for a person to remove or have in his or her <br />possession any wild reptile, bird or animal or the eggs or nest of a young reptile or <br />bird which is or was located in a City Park. <br />4. It is unlawful to introduce into or abandon any wild animal within <br />a City Park. <br />Ordinance 17-1462 <br />Page 6 <br />
