A brief <br />discussion ensued regarding the previous tenant at the site. <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Charlene Glancy, 210 NE Triplet Drive, Casselberry, <br />Florida came forward. In response to the Commission's question, Ms. Glancy stated she chose the location because <br />it was located in Casselberry, the view of the lake and the visibility and high traffic counts on US Highway 17/92. In <br />response to the Commission's question, Ms. Glancy said the main revenue source would be an event site for <br />wedding receptions, parties etc. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. No one came forward. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address CU 17-09. Mr. Bryan made a motion that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission approve CU 17-09 to allow on-site consumption of beer and wine, 2COP, in conjunction with the <br />operation of an events venue located at 3950 South U.S. Highway 17-92, Suite 2000 based on the findings of fact <br />and conclusions of the staff report dated June 14, 2017, and the nine (9) conditions of approval outlined in the staff <br />report including Exhibits A — C. Ms. Campbell seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. <br />Eighth Item of Business: CU 17-11: 1555 SR 436, Suite 1171 and 1181. A conditional use request to allow <br />beer and wine sales (2COP) at 1555 SR 436, Suite 1171 and 1181. Parcel ID 33-21.30-300-007A-0000 <br />Mr. Dean Fathelbab, Planner I, reviewed the information provided in his memorandum dated June 14, 2017, <br />and a PowerPoint presentation to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy of the <br />PowerPoint presentation is attached and made a part of the minutes). Mr. Fathelbab made a correction to the <br />compliance with applicable laws and ordinances portion of the PowerPoint presentation stating that the word "liquor" <br />should be deleted. <br />Mr. Fathelbab said staff recommends the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 17-11 to allow on- <br />site consumption of beer and wine, 2COP, in conjunction with the operation of the restaurant at 1555 State Road <br />436, Suite 1171 and 1181. He said stafrs approval is based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report <br />dated June 14, 2017, and the nine (9) conditions of approval outlined in the staff report. <br />
